“So it came about whenever the evil spirit from God came to Saul, David would take the harp and play it with his hand; and Saul would be refreshed and be well, and the evil spirit would depart from him.” 1 Samuel 16:23

This video devotional from The Rock Church in San Diego features 365 video devotionals from Pastor Miles McPherson—and each one is only 60 seconds long (give or take). It’s an entertaining and uplifting devotional, but also doubles as a light media library for other pastors.
From their website: Miles a Minute was created as a way to speak God’s truth into the lives of those who don’t normally find themselves inside a church.

As early as the life of Saul and David, people have sought ways to soothe the demons that attack us physically and emotionally, and to bring us brief respites from hurts, losses, and sadness. For Saul, David would take the harp and play it. As the saying goes, music soothes the savage beast, and the beasts that ravage us in this world are many and frequent. Other ways we can use to bring us some comfort and peace are to read devotions, and to listen to the same. This is the beauty of the APP “Miles a Minute”. Having downloaded he app, I can see why it is so popular. Pastor Miles McPherson is able to visually and verbally present a devotion that will give you hope, lift your spirits, and set you on the path to be the embodiment of Jesus in the lives of the people you encounter each day. Try it out. Tell a friend to check it out. It does not have to be difficult or intimidating to share the word of G-d with others. Sometimes it is as easy as telling someone about an APP.
