I have been to the edge of despair
I have worn the face of confusion
I have tried to understand loss and love
I have wondered: is this illusion?

I have to leave this earthly plane 
I have to live prepared to die
I have enough to soothe my soul
I have no need of silver-lined skies.

I have so much I will not do
I have lost so much to time
I have to move through darkness now
I have to, for His light is sublime.

I Have Light!

If I have yet two score or more
It will be Gd’s will for me
If that be so, let me sow hope
And love throughout eternity.
